While phone snaps are wonderful memories of everyday happy moments, they don’t include one important element - YOU. You are not in the picture, having fun with your lovely family. A professional photographer can capture your family’s legacy as a whole. It’s photos that you’ll want to print and hang all around your house.
This session captures the baby in their own home photographed with their family, in their nursery, and even with family pets. Ideally, it is scheduled when the baby is 7-14 days old. No "crazy" props - just baby & family. I bring various wraps. 1.5+ hours

Please note that all session times are approximate. If we get "the shot" early on, it might be a little shorter. On the other hand, if it TAKES LONGER, we will take the time needed.

If you KNOW you want pictures taken, even if it is months away, reach out to me and we will get at least a tentative date on the calendar. If you are expecting and want maternity pictures, we can definitely get a date (at least the month) on the books. Same goes for a newborn shoot, let me know the expected due date so it's on my radar. Spring and Fall are VERY BUSY TIMES for photographers.

Hush....don't say the "R" WORD! All joking aside, I am predominately an outdoor natural light photographer. I always like to wait until the very last minute before I would try to reschedule because weather can change in an instant. I've had some of my best sessions when it's cloudy and the rain has just stopped. Let's keep our fingers crossed for NO RAIN.
